I dusted off my DSLR to capture reference images, focusing on real-world camera data such as focal length and f-stop. My goal was to match the render as closely as possible to the garden tap in the reference. I especially enjoyed refining the surface imperfections to achieve a level of realism that closely mirrored the photographs.
